IMPORTANT NOTES

- Following the new appointments, it was decided by the O.M.J.-E.C. that its Vice-president and Secretary could no longer be necessarily associated with a specific Bird section, and that both these positions would be elected from amongst the members of the O.M.J.-E.C. for a three-year term. At the 2005 World Show, in Bad Salzuflen, Mr. G. CORTESE was unanimously elected O.M.J. Vice-President. His mandate will come to an end in 2008. At the 2004 World Show, in Lausanne, Mr. A. PAPARELLA was unanimously elected O.M.J. Secretary. His mandate will come to an end in 2007.

- It is to be noted that the above two Commissions (C.O.M.P.E. and C.R.O.) were formed following a proposal by the C.O.M. Board of Directors at its Statutory Congress, and in each of these two cases the proposal has been accepted by the member countries. As for the present Member in charge of these Commissions, the C.O.M.-B.D. has determined that this appointment will be for a three-year term, and this member is permitted to attend meetings of the C.O.M. Board of Directors, but only exercises a consultative role.
