Section  P  -  QUAIL AND PARTRIDGES


Each exhibitor is allowed to enter up to five birds of the same species per individual class. No limit for team classes.


Notes:
       
         • “Pied” varieties are not allowed.

         • The list of species below is not exhaustive and includes only specimens frequently exhibited, although entering other birds more rarely bred is permitted.
        
         • The common names of some species may vary. Therefore, correct identification is made by the Latin scientific name.
        
         • The European Galliformes are included in this section.
        
         • Taxonomic reference:   as established by SIBLEY and MONROE
                                             (« Distribution and Taxonomy of Birds of the World », 1990)
