"THE C.O.M. NEWS", MARCH 2006 nr. 115
| APPLICATIONS FOR STAGING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS |
To render the organisation of a World Show more financially attractive, some
significant changes have been introduced regarding the judging system and the
duration of the World Championships:
The duration of a “C.O.M. World Show” (Northern Hemisphere)
will be limited to a maximum of twelve (12) days, starting always on the third
Thursday of January. It will be open to the public during five (5) days, including
a weekend.
The member countries may present their nominations to organise the 2011 World Championship, by letter addressed to the C.O.M. General President before 30th June 2006. This will be the final date by which to decide on the 2011 World Show and notify the C.O.M. / O.M.J. Congress in Montilla (Spain) during the first weekend of September 2006.
Final date for submissions to host future World Shows will always be set as
30th June of each next year, in order to allow for a decision and notification
to the C.O.M. / O.M.J. Congress during the first weekend of September.
