IMPORTANT NOTE

At a meeting held in Alicante on 28th August 1999, the C.O.M. Board of Directors and the O.M.J. Executive Committee decided that one same person cannot hold at the same time the positions of member of the C.O.M.-B.D. or O.M.J.-E.C. and that of President of a National C.O.M. and/or President of a National Technical Commission.
This rule, aimed at avoiding any conflict of interests between C.O.M. and its member countries, came into effect for the elections or re-elections of members as from the C.O.M. / O.M.J. Congress of January 2000.
